We Love Life Here
Joe and Enid Rayment became husband and wife on July 5th 1952, when they married in Essex. After 71 glorious years together, they have built a wonderful family with their two sons, Tim and Nicholas. They enjoyed making fantastic memories together as they travelled the world, even living in Hong Kong and Germany, before settling in Fleet in 1964. Living just a stone’s throw away from Church Road, they witnessed Fleet Hall Care Home being built, which has become their home today!
There comes a time when people begin to need assistance with day-to-day tasks, and this is where Joe and Enid’s care journey began after a series of falls from Joe. Although still very much independent, the couple decided to move to Fleet Hall Care Home to seek extra support with daily tasks and assistance with mobility. Following highly regarded feedback from Enid’s brother, who resides at Edenbridge Manor, Mr and Mrs Rayment knew they had made the best care choice for them.
They moved to Fleet Hall on 14th March 2023 to continue their next stage of life together and have loved every second of it.
“We love life here. The team is wonderful, polite and always helpful. Around-the-clock care is available for all residents, giving us the feeling of security we need. The food is delicious, and we have seen significant improvement in Joe’s health and mental well-being, which has boosted his confidence again.
There is so much for us to do here to continue creating happy memories together, from exercise classes in the morning to enjoying a coffee and slice of cake in the parlour.
Our lovely companion suite allows us to enjoy the quieter times to ourselves. Equally, we enjoy spending time with fellow residents at the many groups and clubs available.”
