Paul also worked as the Creative Director of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Team opening ceremonies.

The event will take place on Tuesday 27th August from 11am to 12.30pm at Wandsworth Common Care Home, which is part of Avery Healthcare. Set in the elegant surroundings of the luxury care home, the event will showcase the vibrant spirit of the LGBTQ+ community and its allies.

Paul’s deep passion for the arts and youth empowerment will bring unique insights and stories that celebrate diversity and inclusion, enriching the morning’s discussions and building on a welcoming environment for all.

Paul said, “Being a part of the LGBTQ+ community has given me a sense of belonging, but it wasn’t always that way. Inclusivity takes perseverance and community and it’s an honour to be asked to speak at this event.”

Thomas Holden, General Manager at Wandsworth Common Care Home, expressed his enthusiasm by stating, “This is a rare opportunity to learn from a leader in the field. We are incredibly excited to host this special LGBTQ+ coffee morning, as it’s a fantastic chance to celebrate diversity and build a sense of belonging within our community. We believe everyone deserves to feel seen and valued, and events like this help us create a more inclusive environment.”

Reflecting Wandsworth Common Care Home’s ongoing commitment to a supportive and inclusive community, this coffee morning invites residents, friends, and community members to join in for coffee, conversation, and a strengthened sense of connection.
