Supporting Care Workers Across The Country!
Avery has been a supporter of The Care Workers’ Charity (CWC) since its foundation in 2009 by promoting the charity at our events and continuously committing to helping care workers. Since Avery became the headline sponsor of the CWC’s Going The Extra Mile events in 2017, we have raised over £22,000 for the charity.
This year, we look forward to supporting their 2020 fundraising events, kicking off with the South Coast Cycle in May, before all of our homes come together to help fundraise for their headlining ‘Going The Extra Mile’ event in July.
Lisa Soper, Operations Director at Avery, said, “The Care Workers Charity provides some incredible support for people in the sector who are facing extreme hardship. Without their support and intervention during these difficult times, many families would face significant challenges. We are proud to support the CWC in their work.”
