Seagrave House Marks World Book Day
World Book Day is an annual charity event in which all children currently in education receive a voucher to be spent towards a book of their choice. This year it was marked on the 4th March and although it celebrates the joy of reading, it also provides an excellent opportunity to dress up as a favourite character from a book. Residents at Seagrave House Care Home in Corby celebrated the event by crafting their own bookmarks. They glued coloured tissue paper to a card for their creations, with the result mirroring stain-glassed windows. Delighted with their handy work, relativeDionne commented on Facebook, “Nice work, Mum!”
