Miramar receive great CQC!
The staff and residents at Miramar Care Home, Herne Bay are delighted to announce that the Care Quality Commission (CQC) have recently inspected the home, and have graded us as Good In All Categories.
Our CQC report includes comments from residents such as: “It can be so miserable having to leave one’s own home, but I am made to feel so welcome here. There is never a dull moment, and I have settled in marvellously”, “My room is my home and it is important to feel safe and secure. I am happy to say that I do” and “The staff always go out of their way to be helpful and friendly. They keep me safe and happy living here”.
Relatives spoke highly of the care at our home, saying “The staff are so good at trying to help my relative and keep them safe”.
Staff also told the CQC about how comfortable they are in the home and how the training they have received has helped them progress: “We had a supervision recently about oral health which was really helpful” and “I would do the [Advanced Senior Carer] course again tomorrow, it was amazing. It included end of life care, the ageing process, insulin, and management. I learnt so much I would recommend it for everyone”.
