Meal for Two at Birchmere Mews

Within our friendly, welcoming communities, it becomes almost impossible for residents and staff not to create special bonds with one another, and that’s precisely the case at Birchmere Mews in Solihull. Joining the home in January this year, resident Graham Harrison quickly settled in well and, with his very likeable character, instantly gained companions and, unsurprisingly, a bond with home Manager Charley Simcox.

The friendship blossomed when Charley frequently visited Graham to ensure he was settling into his new home, and they would chat away. This led her to invite Graham for a cup of tea and a natter in her office. Now, the pair enjoy each other’s company so much that this has become a monthly tradition, where they eat lunch together and reminisce about family and past life experiences.
