Luxury Care Home in Sheringham Officially Opens Its Doors

West Wood Care Home, a newly built, state-of-the-art facility in Sheringham, has officially opened its doors and welcomed its first residents.

The newly built 70-bed care home is the latest addition to Avery Healthcare’s portfolio.

Located in a prime location in Sheringham overlooking the golf course, West Wood Care Home offers exceptional residential, respite, and dementia care services in a luxurious and comfortable environment for older adults.

The home features premium amenities, including a hair salon, cinema, café, outdoor terraces, companion rooms, private dining options, and beautifully landscaped gardens. These facilities are designed to provide comfort, convenience, and an enriched quality of life for all residents.

Kathryn Baird-Parker, Home Manager at West Wood Care Home, expressed her excitement about the opening, saying: “We are delighted to have opened the doors to the latest addition to the Avery Healthcare portfolio and to welcome our first resident.”

“It’s a wonderful milestone for us as we provide a warm and inviting environment where residents can thrive and feel at home. Our dedicated team is committed to delivering personalised care and support to enhance the quality of life for all our residents.”

“I’m excited to build a vibrant community where everyone can connect, share experiences, and enjoy their golden years together.”

“A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to making this home a reality, from its construction to the opening — your efforts have been instrumental in bringing this vision to life.”

The home’s first resident, Ann Stamp, moved in last Monday at the age of 83, marking the start of a thriving and welcoming community for seniors.

West Wood Care Home stands as a testament to Avery Healthcare’s ongoing commitment to excellence in the adult care sector, solidifying its reputation as a leader in compassionate, person-centred care across the UK.
