‘Looked After Wonderfully Well’: Silvermere CQC Inspection Report

Silvermere Care Home, in Cobham, Surrey, recently received a positive inspection from Care Quality Commission (CQC). To help continue to support care services as safely as possible, CQC has changed how they monitor and inspect the care industry. The new transitional framework, which currently replaces the previous ESF framework inspection, focuses on key areas such as infection prevention and control.

The report mentioned that residents felt they have been looked after well, and “the care and support provided by staff had been invaluable during the periods [we] were unable to have family visits.” It is also noted that staff were helpful, professional and efficient.

Delighted with the positive report, Home Manager Rose O’Mara commented, “I am really proud of the Silvermere team for this achievement. They are shining as always.”
