Success at Horse Fair after good CQC inspection!
Horse Fair Care Home in Rugeley, Stafford are excited to announce that after a recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission, they have rated Horse Fair as Good In All Categories! The inspection is completed over two days, and the CQC speak to staff, resident and relatives about the care and service of the home.
The CQC report highlighted lots of positive comments such as: “All those we spoke with told us they felt safe and protected at Horse Fair Care Home. One person told us, “It’s good here and very safe. I truly, truly consider this my home. When you come to this stage in your life, they (staff) really look after you.” and “I’ve got no trouble here. They (staff) always listen and do what they can to help me.””
Horse Fair offers Residential, Dementia and Respite care and has fabulous communal facilities, such as a Sensory garden, café, hair salon and cinema, which all help to improve a resident’s quality of life as they are able to relax at the home.
Our Home Manager Jennie Mannion is proud of the result, saying “I am pleased that the CQC report reflects the commitment and compassion which team Horse Fair demonstrate. They often do not recognise, themselves, that what they do every day is special and means so much to our residents and their loved ones. I am extremely proud of the team and they truly deserve the result achieved during the inspection.”
Regional Manager Rita Flanaghan also said “This is a fantastic result and a great report; Team Horsefair have proved that they can overcome any challenges and really pull together to deliver a first-class service to the residents at the home. Well done to Jennie and the whole team, I am really proud of you all!”
