Grove Park Care Home rated ‘Good in All Categories’ in CQC Inspection
Our wonderful Grove Park Care Home, Leeds, has scored ‘Good in All Categories’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) at a recent unannounced inspection. The CQC grades the services delivered in care homes in five categories (Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well-led) and adjudged that our home and staff scored consistently highly throughout.
Our home is operated by leading national care provider Avery Healthcare, Residential Care Provider of the Year in 2016 from two awarding bodies and Qube Learning Awards Employer of The Year in 2017. Grove Park is a high quality care home with spacious lounges, restaurant style dining rooms, spacious bedrooms all with en-suites and a lovely café opening out on to a stunning large sun terrace with open views.
Home Manager Lisa Turnbull (pictured) was delighted: “At Grove Park, we have a philosophy and commitment to promoting independence and choice for our residents, supported by the highest quality care. It is a home with a difference that offers friendship and a stimulating and interesting lifestyle.”
Extracts from the CQC report include: ‘People we spoke with all told us they felt safe living at the home.’ The health professional told CQC, staff were compassionate and supportive. They said, “Dignity is really well considered here.” A resident stated, “The staff are all lovely here. [Name of staff member] is like a best friend to me. The girls are all very helpful. I do feel that I am well looked after.”
Make sure you come along to our National Care Home Open Day on the 16th June where we will be enjoying an ‘Al Fresco’ picnic.
