Gin, gin! Tasting Experience at Droitwich Mews

In October, residents at Droitwich Mews Care Home in Droitwich Spa enjoyed a very special gin tasting experience. Thanks to a kind voucher donation from their local Morrisons store, staff at the home purchased a selection of gin and everything else they needed for the ultimate gin tasting experience. Emily Soper, Well-being and Activities Co-ordinator, said, “There was a lot of laughter this afternoon as we spent time sampling a selection of gin and tonics.”

Staff set up a spread in the dining room with a number of unique gin liquors and tonic, including orange and rhubarb, as well as lemon wedges and an assortment of nibbles to accompany the tipple. After the experience, it was decided that the favourite amongst the group was the passion fruit gin paired with a Mediterranean tonic. To see more of what our residents at Droitwich Mews get up to, visit their Facebook page.
