Fun and Companionship
At Squires Mews Care Home in Northampton, we provide a holistic programme of activities and events, bringing smiles to the faces of our residents each day. With a mix of memory, physical, and sensory-based activities, there is something for everyone.
On Tuesday 28th March, residents Maureen and Norman kindly taught Well-being and Activities Co-ordinator, Stacy, a new game using six dice. Maureen explained the rules of the game, whilst Norman tallied up the points and read out the final scores.
Maureen quickly took the lead and remained untouched throughout the game, eventually winning! Stacey stated, “I had a wonderful time with Maureen and Norman this morning. Thank you both for teaching me the game. It was lovely to hear your fond memories of teaching this to your children and grandchildren.”
