Esher Manor Care Home Raises Over £800 for Princess Alice Hospice at Charity Fashion Show

Esher Manor Care Home successfully raised over £800 for Princess Alice Hospice during a charity fashion show, providing crucial funds to support those facing life-limiting illnesses and end-of-life care.

The fashion show, held at the 83-bed care home in Esher, Surrey, last week raised £827 for the Princess Alice Hospice, through ticket sales and a raffle

General Manager of Esher Manor Care Home, Monika Sierwierska, along with 58-year-old Jane Churchill and 55-year-olds Tracie Clarke and Joanna Carter, all local community members and supporters of the home, modelled in the fashion show.

The clothing, provided by Travelling Trends, featured a diverse collection from popular high street brands.

Travelling Trends specialise in pop-up fashion shows, offering affordable styles from well-known retailers.

Over 80 visitors attended the event, supporting the hospice’s vital palliative care services.

The funds will support Princess Alice Hospice, a UK charity founded in 1985, which provides free specialist palliative care to over 1,000 people at any time, including residents of local care homes like Esher Manor.

With 100 percent of care from the hospice delivered without charge, the money raised will ensure the organisation can continue delivering its essential services, making a meaningful difference to those in need of specialist and end-of-life care.
