Easter Eggstravaganza

Across our homes, staff and residents celebrated Easter with a range of egg-citing activities. Those at Acer House Care Home in Weston-super-Mare began the festivities with a service, singing their favourite hymns and sharing what Easter means to them before taking part in a themed quiz.

Residents at Birchmere House Care Home in Solihull unleashed their creative side, taking part in an arts and crafts workshop with the team at Creative Mojo, and later delivered a selection of Easter goodies to the children’s ward at the local Heartlands Hospital. Over at Sonning Gardens Care Home in Sonning, residents were delighted to welcome members of their local Beavers group, forming new friendships as they took part in a fun-packed egg hunt together before decorating shortbread biscuits.

For residents at Hinckley House Care Home in Hinckley, an Easter bonnet competition went down a treat, with loved ones joining the panel of judges for first, second and third prize. Aran Court Care Home in Birmingham’s ‘Bunny Bus’ was out in force, as staff and residents delivered over 200 chocolate eggs to local nurseries and schools, spreading cheer to all.
