Dine in With Us

Following the launch of Avery’s Cutlery-Free Dining initiative in 2021, many of our homes, including Hampstead Court Care Home in St John’s Wood, have opened their dining rooms to guests for cutlery-free dining experience, where they can sample some delicious menus available to residents at mealtimes.

By adapting everyday meals into cutlery-free options, residents who find manipulating cutlery a barrier can enjoy healthy, nutritious meals in a dignified and independent way. The experience allows guests to better understand the meals we prepare to meet each resident’s needs and dietary requirements.

Tom Parry, Home Manager at Hampstead Court, described his first cutlery-free dining experience as a great success, “Our culinary team prepared a delicious selection of cutlery-free options, which our guests thoroughly enjoyed. Our innovative menu transforms everyday dishes.”
