Darwin Court receives a work of art

Darwin Court was delighted to receive a generous donation of a beautifully painted canvas from Queens Croft High School student Hollie. The home shares a special bond with the school as the very talented Hollie, along with her classmates, regularly visited Darwin Court pre-pandemic to deliver activities to their residents.

During the midst of the pandemic, Hollie spent time creating amazing artwork, which she discovered had a great impact on her mental health and was very therapeutic during such a challenging time. The canvas Hollie has painted for the home depicts an underwater scene with dolphins, a turtle, an octopus and colourful corals with various fish and a seahorse. The canvas was gratefully received by staff and residents and is now displayed in their main Bistro reception area for all to enjoy and admire.
