Celebrating International Nurses Day 2024
Last month, Avery Healthcare proudly celebrated International Nurses Day across all our care homes, recognising the dedication and compassion of our incredible nursing staff. This year’s theme “Our Nurses. Our Future. The Economic Power of Care” highlighted the profound impact our nurses have on both individual lives and the wider community.
In recognition of their tireless efforts, each Home Manager presented our nurses with a box of chocolates and a hand-signed letter from Lorna Rose, Chief Executive Officer of Avery Healthcare, expressing our collective gratitude. The celebrations were filled with warmth and appreciation. Home Managers organised small gatherings where staff and residents shared stories and expressed their thankfulness. The sense of community and appreciation was palpable, as everyone joined together to honour the remarkable contributions of our nursing teams.
Our nurses at Avery Healthcare provide exceptional care and comfort to our residents. Their resilience and compassion make a significant difference in the lives of those they serve.
