Bourn View Care Home Claims Regional Top 20 Award for Third Consecutive Year
We are delighted to share that Bourn View Care Home in Bournville has been recognised as a Top 20 Rated Care Home for the West Midlands in the carehome.co.uk Top 20 Care Home Awards, for the third consecutive year.
Bourn View Home Manager, Marie Accison, said, “We are honoured to have received this award; it is a testament to the fantastic team we have working here at Bourn View. Thank you to all our amazing residents and families for their continued support and for sending such lovely reviews. We are so proud of our team and the family we have created.”
With almost 1,605 homes in the West Midlands, the top 20 received an award from the UK’s leading reviews guide to care homes, carehome.co.uk. This is based on feedback from residents, as well as their friends and relatives.
Amanda Hopkins, Reviews Manager of carehome.co.uk, said, “We now have over 260,000 reviews of care homes on carehome.co.uk so we are able to give people a real insight into what a care home and its care staff are like. Our reviews reveal if the care home is value for money as well as the standard of its facilities and the quality of their care, activities and nutrition.
Choosing a care home can be emotionally and physically exhausting for both the person going to live there as well as their family, so we hope our awards which are given to the highest rated homes will help make the search easier.”
A recent review of Bourn View highlights the tight-knit community of fun and companionship, truly providing residents with a home from home:
“My mother has been in Bourn View Care Home since February 2021. I couldn’t wish for a better home for my mother. Not only is it like a five-star hotel, when you enter the reception, but you get 100% from every one of the staff, they really look after the residents, lots of activities to keep everyone happy.
Every bedroom is very spacious with an ensuite shower/wet room. Bourn View Care Home is certainly a home from home; I couldn’t wish for any more care and attention for my mother. She is also very happy living there amongst friends.”
