Avery Well-Being Support Team Shortlisted for 2025 NAPA Awards
Avery Healthcare are thrilled to announce that its Customer Experience and Well-Being Support Team have been shortlisted for the Service Recognition Award at the 2025 National Activity Providers Association (NAPA) Awards.
NAPA, the National Activity Providers Association, promotes the significance of activity provision in enhancing the quality of life for people in care.
This honour acknowledges the team’s dedication to enhancing resident experience and well-being across nearly 100 care homes, setting an exemplary standard in the sector.
The awards ceremony will take place on 24th January 2025 at The Liner Hotel, Liverpool.
Hannah Mulholland, Director of Customer Experience and Well-Being at Avery Healthcare, shared her pride in the team.
“Our team consists of experienced and talented individuals with decades of expertise in the care sector.”
“Their innovation and creativity, combined with their collective skills, are truly leading the way in care provision.”
“Being shortlisted for this award is a significant achievement in our field.”
“We hold NAPA in high regard, and to be recognised by them is a tremendous accolade.”
The Customer Experience and Well-Being Support Team focuses on improving the lived experience of residents by collaborating with care home staff to deliver outstanding services.
This includes designing comprehensive induction programmes and offering continual training to well-being coordinators, enabling them to refine and expand their skillsets.
Mulholland adds, “It’s through close collaboration between my team and the Well-being Teams in our homes that the most impactful work happens.”
The team have developed new resources, tools, and guidelines to improve activity provision across all homes.
In partnership with Oomph!, they are providing specialised exercise training for all Well-being Co-ordinators, ensuring effective physical activity programmes in each home.
An exciting upcoming project is the launch of This Is Me books, created collaboratively with residents, their families, and care teams.
These personalised books will encourage meaningful conversations and activities tailored to each resident’s unique preferences.
