Avery Healthcare Prepares for Dementia Action Week 2021
Led by The Alzheimer’s Society, Dementia Awareness Week, a national event that sees the public coming together to take action to improve the lives of people living with dementia, takes place on 17th – 23rd May 2021. This year, Avery Healthcare is getting involved in a number of ways to help promote good practice in dementia care and raise awareness around supporting people living with dementia.
Avery’s residents are encouraged to get involved throughout the week with a range of thought-provoking activities that focus on dementia awareness, including life story work and personal memory boxes.
