All Aboard at Birchmere Mews
At Birchmere Mews Care Home in Solihull, we encourage residents to lead a full and active lifestyle, taking part in a range of activities to maintain well-being. To support independence and mobility, we have our own private minibus for excursions, including church socials, museum tours, historical sights, city tours, cafés, theatre, and shopping trips and of course the odd pub lunch – much to the delight of residents.
Recently, staff and residents ventured to the National Trust’s Packwood House, a 16th-century Tudor house which was restored at the beginning of the 20th century. Soaking up the sunshine, residents explored the parkland and wildflower meadows, before stopping at the café for refreshments.
