Alder House Awarded Five Star Quality Banding
Alder House Care Home in Nuthall, Nottingham, is proud to announce we have been awarded a five star quality banding for the second year running from our Local Authority after a recent inspection completed by Nottinghamshire County Council (NCC).
The NCC found that we met high standards throughout all of their five categories, highlighting that people who live at Alder House receive care which considers their choices and preferences. The report also recognises that staff are professional and suitably trained, whilst our Home Manager Jeremy Dignum takes responsibility and has an effective complaints procedure in place.
To complete the inspection, the NCC spoke to staff and residents. When asked about the care at Alder House, one resident said: “It is very good”. Other quotes from the report include: “The food is lovely and there is always plenty to eat” and “There always seems to be staff around”.
Jeremy said “Since I joined Alder House, the team and I have worked hard to maintain our band five rating with the local authority, and it stands testimony to the wonderful care at Alder House. I am very proud of my team here.”
Well done to everyone at Alder House!
