A Winter Wonderland at Hampstead Court
Hampstead Court Care Home hosted a magical Winter Wonderland on Wednesday 20th December, bringing together staff, residents and loved ones to spread the joy of Christmas within their community. They were delighted to be joined by the Henna Asian Women’s Group and Neighbourcare St John’s Wood and Maida Vale for the evening of festivities.
The home was transformed into a snowy paradise with Santa Claus and two of his reindeer making a special appearance, spreading cheer to those young and those simply young at heart. A resident said, “I loved meeting the reindeer, and I even got to stroke one”. The celebration was filled with love, laughter and delicious food. Guests indulged in the delicious buffet of festive treats, from mince pies to mulled wine; there was plenty to choose from.
The Winter Wonderland had plenty of fun activities for everyone, including a snow globe that hosted many snowball fights. Singer Elke sang seasonal songs for the gathering of residents, their families, friends and other visitors whilst they enjoyed a glass of prosecco.
Senior Customer Services Manager, Tim Woolford, commented, “This was an amazing team effort across all departments of the home, getting everything prepared for our Winter Wonderland. Seeing so many happy and laughing faces, young and old, made all the hard work worthwhile”.
