We are firm believers in supporting our local community here at Purley Gardens Care Home, and residents play a big part in this, always looking for new ways we can help out. For many years we have taken great pride in extending our care to the Purley Food Hub by donating goods to their local food bank for those in need.
We constantly refine and develop our care programmes to ensure residents get the most out of our activities, exploring physical and sensory elements. With access to a private minibus, residents can also enjoy day trips to local theatres and garden centres, as well as nearby towns and villages.

The team enjoy supporting residents to maintain life skills and engage in meaningful activities which promote a sense of accomplishment. Often, residents help our maintenance team in the garden, planting bulbs ready for Spring, or help our culinary team lay the table ready for dinner with fellow residents. It is easy to feel at home and make new friends in our welcoming care community.
