Kedleston Suite Grand Opening with Roy McFarland and Roger Davies

What better way to start 2018 than with the grand opening of our Kedleston Suite!

Joined by Rams legends Roy McFarland and Roger Davies (and of course Derby County mascot Rammie), our Grand Opening on January 11th was a great success. Guests joined the football heroes in celebrating the opening of our gorgeous new Kedleston suite, which is dedicated to helping those with memory-affecting disorders, including dementia.

This is the final suite to be opened at Derby Heights Care Home, with 16 beautiful bedrooms, eight of which already have occupants!

As you can tell, everyone had a fantastic time at our event and the chance to meet the Derby stars. Roy and Roger spent plenty of time talking to our residents and guests and were even so kind as to sign past Derby County memorabilia that was brought along too. Roy had previously opened our home when it was first established, so it was great to have him back to see how far we had come in two years.

A special thank you to everyone to joined us on the day and continues to support Derby Heights. Our residents, families and staff are always incredibly supportive, and we were grateful to receive coverage from the Derby Telegraph and the Derby County Community Trust.

Come and see our final suite for yourself, and tour the rest of our gorgeous home. You are welcome to visit at any time and we hope to see you at our next big event!
