Grandparents’ Day Celebrations at Hampstead Court Care Home
Hampstead Court Care Home, in Camden, hosted a wonderful Grandparents Day celebration, bringing together residents, families, and guests for a memorable afternoon.
The event featured a lively performance from talented singer Laura, whose engaging set encouraged lots of audience participation. A standout moment of the day was a lovely rendition of ‘You Are My Sunshine’, where attendees joined in with three-part harmonies, creating a joyful atmosphere throughout the home.
The care home was also honoured to welcome Atiyah DaCosta from the charity Re-engage. Re-engage does invaluable work in combating loneliness among older people, and Atiyah brought along several of the charity’s clients to take part in the festivities. They enjoyed meeting the residents and enthusiastically participated in the singing.
Refreshments were served by Hampstead Court Care Home’s dedicated Culinary Team, whose delicious offerings were greatly appreciated by all. Special thanks were also given to Nicola and Mela from the Well-being Team, who ensured that residents, families, and guests were well looked after throughout the event.
Hampstead Court Care Home prides itself on creating meaningful, community-focused experiences for its residents. Events like these embody the spirit of care and connection that the home strives to provide every day.
