12 years of Acer House Care Home
Acer House Care Home recently celebrated its 12th year with a grand anniversary party on Saturday 21st October 2023. The event was a momentous occasion, made even more special by the presence of Mayor Cllr. Ciarán Cronnelly. During the festivities, the Mayor took the opportunity to honour the dedicated long-standing staff members who have been with the organisation since its inception in 2011.
In her heartfelt speech, Home Manager Sam Ealden highlighted the remarkable fact that a third of the current workforce has been faithfully serving at Acer House for five years or more. This is truly a testament to their commitment and loyalty, and a significant achievement for the care home.
After the awards ceremony, everyone in attendance, including staff, residents, families, and visitors, had the pleasure of being entertained by the brilliant Wrington Gospel Choir, Joyful Spirit. Their soulful performance filled the afternoon with joy and uplifted the spirits of all those present. To top it all off, a delectable buffet was served, adding to the overall enjoyment of the event.
The affair was undoubtedly memorable and delightful. It brought together people from all walks of life to celebrate the home’s journey and the incredible individuals who have contributed to its community. The atmosphere was filled with happiness, gratitude, and a sense of unity, making it a truly wonderful time for everyone involved.
