At our home, we warmly welcome couples or companions who want to continue their care journey together. The home has its own minibus, enabling our Bexleyheath care home residents to explore the local area, as well as venturing slightly further afield on occasion. Our resident chef and his assistants have a well-deserved reputation for baking excellence. Home-baked cakes, pastries and snacks are readily available and prove to be very popular. More importantly, our three meals a day are always freshly cooked, using the freshest ingredients, locally sourced where possible, and of course nutritionally balanced. Health considerations and dietary needs are taken into account, and nothing is too much trouble.
Mealtimes are important social events – food is for the soul as well as the body — and we like to make these times as enjoyable as possible. Fresh flowers, wine and an aperitif all add to the occasion. If it’s a special occasion, we believe it’s a good excuse for a bit of special baking too, complete with candles! Visitors are always welcome to join us and sample the delicious treats for themselves!
